With tensions mounting the propensity for violence is escalating. I do not expect the National News Media to cover stories that would promote fear or encourage dissent in any way. This would not fit well with the continued reinforcing of the idea that all is well enough in America and that things will be getting better soon. We will have to rely on each other to stay abreast of civil unrest developing around the country in order to know where it is most in danger of exploding into violence and when it does erupt, what actions were taken by local authorities to quell the violence. Mainstream Media will want to downplay the problems in order to hopefully keep the violence contained to the geographical region it occurs within so it will not incite more demonstrations or more potential violence from the disenfranchised people of America.
Please post links to local accounts of any civil disturbances you witness or read about. Links to videos of how they are handled are encouraged as well. We need to know what we are up against when the forth coming summer lends heat to frustration. I would encourage everyone to monitor this thread whether or not you agree with what or who is posting here. I would also like you to post a link to an article or video clip and keep the "chatter" to a minimum. This is not a thread to discuss the issues so much as to inform of their occurrence so please only post pertinent information without excessive commentary.
