As the Grand Jury hears the evidence presented, a ruling could come as early as tomorrow as to whether or not sufficient evidence points towards holding George Zimmerman for trial for the killing of Trayvon Martin. Conflicting statements from eye-witnesses, physical proof of the altercation, as well as Zimmerman's actions prior to the deadly encounter will be weighed.
I'm going on record and saying that there will be some form of trial. The Media and the Public Outrage has deemed it necessary. Whether or not George Zimmerman will be exonerated in the end remains to be seen. I, for one, would like to see a trial just so I can see the evidence, or lack of, that supports the decision to convene a Grand Jury. If the Grand Jury returns a verdict of "no Bill" at least we will finally get more information supporting the police decision not to arrest him in the first place; or an indictment for homicide, which will lead to a trial where the facts may finally put this matter to a rest.
This is simply a public opinion poll. There is no right or wrong answer. Think of it as a bet. Are you betting that enough evidence exists to bring Zimmerman up on charges, or not? Remember, this is not whether or not he is GUILTY, but simply whether or not enough evidence exists to bring him to trial.
Go ahead, go on record with your opinion. Vote in the poll and then tell us how you voted and then Why you voted that way--even if someone else has already said the same thing.
